Calm Families is a program offered within Calm Education. This program works with caregivers to help provide structures and tools to use and share with the children in their lives. Caregivers may choose to enroll in a 6-week, small group session. All sessions are held once a week for 45 minutes. The classes will focus on skills such as mindfulness, self regulation/emotion control, anger management, anxiety or worry management, relationship skills, and self-confidence/growth mindset. Adults who participate will be taught valuable concepts and tools to label, express and co-regulate big family emotions. They will feel equipped to help their families appropriately manage emotions and behavior at home, school and in the community.
